De manière involontaire, l'humanité participe à une des plus grandes expériences. Le glyphosate est le produit phytopharmaceutique le plus vendu au monde et il est omniprésent dans la chaîne alimentaire. Le photographe Pablo E. Piovano a documenté les conséquences catastrophiques de 20 ans d'utilisation aléatoire de produits chimiques agraires en Argentine.
Dans le cadre de l'exposition, natur&ëmwelt, l'Administration de la nature et des forêts, l'Administration de la gestion de l'eau, Bio-Lëtzebuerg, l'Institut fir biologësch Landwirtschaft an Agrarkultur et « Ouni Pestiziden » proposent le vendredi et samedi, 8 et 9 juin, des stands avec des alternatives aux pesticides et conseillent.

Nature Festival 2018 on 16-17 June in Kockelscheuer
On Saturday 16 June and Sunday 17 June, the area around the House of Nature will be transformed once again into a big family festival with over 50 stands and activities related to the theme of sustainability. Approximately 4000 visitors are expected.
On Saturday, visitors are welcome from 2pm to 6pm whereas on Sunday, the Festival takes places from 10am to 6pm. Over 60 information points and sales stalls will provide you with a wide range of organic, local and natural products and handicrafts.
Numerous activities for the whole family are offered: tree climbing, blacksmiths and forestry work as well as apiary. Other highlights are sheep shearing und the release of birds from our Centre de soins. Children and adults can play different games or participate in scouting activities. Of course, our farm animals can be seen and fed under the supervision of our staff.
As no festival is complete without food, we will offer you all kinds of delicacies from the barbecue as well as a variety of vegetarian and vegan meals from the food truck. On Sunday, or volunteers will prepare an organic lunch. Throughout the weekend, drinks, ice cream, coffee and cakes are served.
The entry fee is 2€ (free for children up to the age of 16). You can easily reach the location by Luxembourg City's bus line 18, which circulates every 30 minutes both on Saturday and Sunday. Otherwise you can come by bike on the PC1 (Piste cyclable du centre Hesperange-Leudelange). The P&R Kockelscheuer-Patinoire is available for those who take their cars. From there, it is only a short walk to the House of Nature.
